i have a seleno-methionine data set that diffracts to around 3.5 angstroms…. which can solve the infamous “phase problem” in solving a crystal structure. i didn’t do *nearly* as much work as it usually takes to get these types of crystals/structures, so i am thankful.
now off to sleep for a few hours so i am awake enough to drive me and my labmates home through a “wintry mix” tomorrow. =/
